Copacabana, Bolivia, February 2001


The town of Copacabana illustrates one of the paradoxes of Latin America. We made a stop here after lunch to walk around the town. There's actually not a lot here except a large, richely appointed church. In contrast to the church, the final picture shows the hovels on the hill behind the square which the church is on.
