Cape Breton Island, July 2003

This set of pictures is from Cape Breton Island, but is only a partial set. We first hiked in to the Uisge Ban Falls. I was fascinated by a tree on the way up which was basically growing out of a rock!

A couple of days later, we the Acadian Trail up to the top of Burnt Mountain. This was the most strenuous hike of the trip, but we were rewarded by great views of the area around Cheticamp, where we stayed for three days.

We climbed Franey Mountain, also, which afforded views of Ingonish Bay.

We got to see a little wildlife also...
