Cape Breton Island, July 2003

These pictures are my favorites from my hikes in Nova Scotia, and were taken on White Point.

Mo and Tom and I climbed up on an adjoining rock, partly because it was there, I guess, and partly because it had a cairn.

Guide Randy did what he seemed to like to do best -- capture creatures... We also encountered juniper berries.

I spotted what I first took to be a grave marker. Here Tom and guide Bernie examine what appears to actually be a memorial marker for someone who fell off the cliff. It's very hard to read, but might say: "William Daniel Dixon fell here ???? town? Feb 17 1926".
