My partners Dennis and Rob and I flew the R44 on a Most Excellent Adventure!

We decided, in spite of low ceilings, to fly to the new Pier 7 Heliport. Rob flew the first leg, with me in the back seat. We were at about 1,000' and started getting ito a thin cloud. Rob wisely lowered collective to descend and pulled back on the stick to slow down to around 60 kts. Shortly afterward, he was able to bring in more pitch and get us back up to 1,000' On the way in we got a good view of Ft. McHenry.

After using the heliport's coutesy car to go into the tourist part of the inner harbor for breakfast, Dennis flew the next leg which was to the Tidewater Grill in Havre de Grace to check it out. On the way up we got to see the end of the tunnel. After stopping at the Tidewater Grill, I flew the last leg to get us home (hence no pictures!).
