Tundra Swans at the Friendship Bogs

Every year the tundra swans migrate here from the sub-arctic north of Hudsons Bay in Canada. Their principal food is a weed called redroot which flurishes in cranberry bogs. There are a few bogs where they like to hang out -- among others, Whitesbog and here at Friendship where they seem to like the southern-most reservoir.
